Privacy Notice
LIVE TULANI, LLC ("Tulani," "we," "us") provides this notice to explain what information we collect through our website and what we do with it.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the tulani.com website only.
Tulani's service — health coaching, testing supplies, continuous glucose monitors, and our mobile application — is not yet available. Right now, tulani.com is an informational website where you can learn about the service and ask to be notified when it launches. This notice describes only that.
When the service launches, we will publish a new privacy notice covering it. This one does not describe how we will handle health information collected through the app or the service, because we are not collecting any yet.
We also publish a separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which the Washington My Health My Data Act requires us to maintain as its own document.
What we collect
Your email address, if you choose to join our waitlist. That is the only information you can give us — our waitlist form has one field.
Your IP address and browser information, collected automatically by our web server whenever anyone visits the site. This happens on every website; it is how a server knows where to send a page.
Three cookies, all of which are necessary for the site to work:
| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Security — protects our forms against cross-site request forgery | When you close your browser |
ARRAffinity | Keeps your session on the same server | When you close your browser |
ARRAffinitySameSite | As above | When you close your browser |
We do not use any other cookies. We store nothing in your browser's local storage.
What we do not collect
We think it is as useful to say what we do not do:
- We do not collect your name. Our waitlist asks only for an email address.
- We do not ask about your health. We do not ask whether you have diabetes, prediabetes, or any other condition.
- We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or trackers of any kind. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no tag manager, no session recording.
- Our website contacts no third-party services at all. Everything the site loads — including fonts — is served from tulani.com.
- We do not collect payment information, precise location, or biometric information.
- We do not buy information about you, or receive it from data brokers or other companies.
- We do not build profiles, scores, or segments from our waitlist.
Because we run no trackers, there is nothing on our site for a "Do Not Track" browser setting to switch off.
How we use your email address
Only to tell you when Tulani's service becomes available. We do not use it for anything else.
Who we disclose information to
We do not sell your information. We do not disclose it to anyone for advertising.
We do not disclose your information to any third party at all. Two service providers handle information on our behalf, under our instruction:
- Microsoft Azure, which hosts our website and keeps server logs.
- Microsoft, which provides the email system where waitlist messages arrive.
We may disclose information if we are legally required to — for example in response to a valid legal request — or to protect the safety or rights of people using our site.
How long we keep it
Waitlist email addresses: indefinitely, until you ask us to delete yours. We have not set an automatic deletion schedule. We are telling you this plainly rather than implying a limit we have not committed to.
Server logs: up to 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you whether we hold information about you, and give you a copy of it;
- Delete the information we hold about you;
- Withdraw your consent to our holding it, which has the same practical effect as deletion.
We offer these to anyone who asks, wherever you live in the United States — not only where the law requires it.
To make a request, email privacy@tulani.com. You do not need to create an account. Since your email address is the only thing we hold, a request sent from that address is normally enough for us to identify you.
We will respond within 45 days. If your request is complicated we may take up to another 45 days, and we will tell you why within the first 45. There is no charge, up to twice a year.
If we refuse, you can appeal by replying to privacy@tulani.com. We will give you a written decision and our reasons within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to complain to the Washington State Attorney General.
If you have exercised rights under the Washington My Health My Data Act, see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy as well.
Children
Tulani's service is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and our website is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Our waitlist collects only an email address and does not verify age. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact privacy@tulani.com and we will delete it.
How we protect your information
Our website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and hosted on Microsoft Azure. Waitlist messages arrive in a mailbox that a small number of Tulani personnel can access.
We cannot promise that any transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we do not claim security measures we have not put in place.
Changes to this notice
Tulani's service is still being built, and our practices will change when it launches. When they do, we will publish an updated notice with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected here at tulani.com.
